When I first saw these hand chiseled aquamarine nuggets, I knew why I loved designing jewelry. This aquamarine is so rough and natural and yet so refined at the same time. I think it looks like someone got out there on a pure blue glacier and chiseled away. A friend of mine thinks it looks like a sugar encrusted confection that you’d rather eat than wear. Whatever image it conjures up for you, I know you will find this necklace beautiful and useful. Oh, and in spite of its rough look, it is very comfortable against the skin.
The necklace is finished with a sterling silver hammered hook and eye clasp and end beads. It is 17 ˝ inches long.
