Freshwater Pearls with a Crystal Quartz Butterfly Drusy

A master lapidary artist carved this butterfly from a crystal quartz drusy. It looks as if it’s ready to take flight from two strands of delicate mauve colored freshwater pearls. The butterfly is so free that rather than attach it to the necklace in a static way, it floats on a circle of the same mauve freshwater pearls. You can even slide it off the necklace if you would like a plainer double strand set of pearls for a particular outfit. The necklace is finished with Balinese silver beads and clasp and a 2“ extender to vary the length as you wish.
